Ok– So the default blog post in WordPress is called Hello World! and I guess that’s what this is so we’ll go with it!
So what is this? It’s actually quite simple. In 2007 I started an ecommerce store for all things Wrap– vehicle, walls, windows– it was all there. It was successful too.
However, 2007 led into 2008. One of the major distributors for most of the key players in our industry went belly up. It caused a huge mess. No longer could stores like wrapvinyl.com have access to Avery, 3M, Oracal (now Orafol) ElevenTen (they went out of business too), Onyx RIP, Summa Cutters, Seal Laminators, Clearfocus…..
Well you get the idea. Without the largest distributor in our industry there was no way to continue easily.
So, like many of the other companies in the USA we folded.
I’ve held on to this name since then.
So here we are. It’s now seventeen years later and I figured it’d be interesting to make a blog about wraps, products and whatever else comes to mind.
And here it is.
